Job Description

The Learner role is a development role in which the role incumbent will be completing a formal, registered qualification while gaining work experience During the period of employment, the Learner will be responsible for delivering tasks in order to execute predefined work objectives such as research, analysis, administration, process and project work that add value to the business area The Learner will be expected to fulfil all the requirements of the qualification. Additional work-related training will be provided a required

Job Details

REQUIREMENTS:

  • must have grade 12 certificate
  • a degree/diploma is advantageous
  • no formal work experience
  • must be between the ages of 18-34
  • must have been unemployed for t least the last 6 months
  • must have no or limited work experience

Essential Skills:

  • Basic Literacy and Numeracy: You’ll need to be able to read, write, and understand basic calculations to succeed in most learnerships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems effectively is essential in any workplace.
  • Teamwork: Learnerships often involve working collaboratively with others, so being a good team player is important.
  • Time Management: You’ll need to be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Motivation and Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to learn and grow are key to success in any learnership.
