2. Security Officer Position at Pick n Pay

Join our team at Pick n Pay in Norwood, Gauteng, as a Security Officer. Ensure the safety and security of all staff and customers while adhering to procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • Security qualification with a minimum of 2 years Retail Industry experience.
  • Registered with SIRA/SOB and grade C registration.
  • Own reliable transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers/employees courteously, applying security policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate security systems and procedures, making improvement recommendations.
  • Liaise with senior management, outside security organizations, and SAP services.
  • Perform all security duties according to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow correct emergency procedures.
  • Identify security risks, take appropriate action, and inform relevant parties.
  • Safeguard company assets.
  • Be consistently alert, vigilant, and aware of security needs.
  • Handle challenging customers, stand for long hours, and perform routine work.
  • Assist with alarm call outs if necessary.
