Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Casual Store Cleaner for their Brackenfell Corner – Brackenfell store. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and neat store according to Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards. This includes areas such as the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen.
Minimum Requirements:
- Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience
- Sound command of the English language
- Basic customer service skills
- Additional language that is area-specific
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Able and physically fit for walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and moving objects
- Reliable transport and/or reside in close proximity to the store

Job Description:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Cashier for their Boardwalk Mall – Gqeberha Store. The primary responsibility of this role is to support customer service at the point of sale, ensuring a world-class shopping experience. The Cashier will record customer transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system in adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures, with a zero-tolerance approach towards inaccuracies and the elimination of fraud risk.
Minimum Requirements:
- Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in cashier/till operations
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Sound numerical skills
- Strong command of the English language
- Basic customer service skills
- Willing and able to work retail hours
