Job Description: Learnership NQF Level 2 (East Rand Mall, Carnival Mall, Springs Mall, Randburg Square, Maponya Mall, The Boulders, Westgate Mall, Sammy Marks, Bloed Mall, Denlyn and Quagga)

Are you currently unemployed and willing to work and obtain a qualification at the same time? Are you passionate about Beauty and Cosmetics? Signature Cosmetics has an exciting opportunity available to complete a Learnership Programme.

Modules covered over the 12-month period:

• Understand the retail supply chain
• Resolving customer queries and complaints
• Merchandising and Maintaining Displays
• Implementing Promotional Instructions
• Recommending and processing stock orders
• Counting Stock and Uplifting returns
• Numeracy
• Literacy

After successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to:

• Understand the sector in which they work
• Provide customers with a high level of service
• Operate effectively and efficiently in their area of specialization.

Minimum Entry Criteria:

• Passed Grade 12
• Communication competency at Grade 12 (Passed English First or Second Language)
• Numeracy competency at Grade 12 (Passed Mathematics Literacy or Mathematics)
• Age 18-33

2.Shop Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized experience for all customers.
2. Drive sales and turnover by motivating and inspiring team members to achieve sales targets.
3. Ensure visual merchandising standards create a beautiful store experience.
4. Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy sales floor that is fully replenished.
5. Manage stock levels, stock losses, and shrinkage effectively.
6. Ensure all products are correctly priced with relevant price stickers and/or signage.
7. Check stock take and cycle count variance reports, investigate variances, and escalate stock shortages or unbalanced stock information to the Area Manager.
8. Adhere to point-of-sale and banking procedures, and raise any concerns with the Area Manager.
9. Adhere to all store standards, operations policies, and procedures.
10. Effectively execute all operational activities within the store.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Matric, grade 12, or equivalent certificate.
2. Passion for cosmetics, retail, and customer service.
3. Knowledge of beauty and skincare products.
4. Strong customer service orientation.
5. Strong work ethic and hands-on attitude.
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
7. Basic proficiency with email and Excel.
8. Good communication skills.
9. Ability to remain calm and pleasant in pressurized situations.
10. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
11. Ability to demonstrate and promote products.
12. Ability to create a buzz in your store that will motivate your team and encourage customers to come back and purchase more.
