Role Purpose
The Administrator: Service Advisor will coordinate service department workflows between customers, service advisors, foremen, technicians, and management, while ensuring excellent customer service, compliance with safety standards, and accurate job card administration.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Service & Customer Coordination

Coordinating workflow between service advisors, foremen, technicians, and customers

Updating customers on service bookings and vehicle progress

Booking in vehicles and creating job cards according to procedure

Ensuring vehicles with complaints are test driven before client departure
Workshop & Operational Control

Ensuring workshop opening and closing procedures are followed daily

Managing vehicle and key security (keysafe and yard control)

Ensuring workshop cleanliness and technician compliance with Hino standards

Promoting and enforcing health and safety regulations
Administration & Sales Support

Preparing and following up on quotations and additional work sales

Selling accessories and value-added services

Following up on unsuccessful sales

Costing job cards accurately and timeously

Recording and reporting comebacks

Checking warranty systems for payments and rejections

Liaising with banks to obtain authorisation for repairs
Parts & Warranty Management

Ensuring parts are ordered according to the parts ordering system

Following up on parts ordered for workshop jobs

Assisting technicians with quotes where required
Minimum Requirements
