Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Security Level 3 position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 10 or equivalent qualification

  • Grade C Security Certificate

  • Valid PSIRA registration

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within the hospital environment, including:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of staff, patients, visitors, and assets

  • Managing access control at entrances and exits

  • Searching vehicles, staff, and patients entering or leaving the institution

  • Conducting hourly patrols within:

    • Hospital buildings

    • Parking areas

    • Perimeter fences

  • Monitoring CCTV cameras

  • Identifying and reporting suspicious activities or abnormalities

  • Attending sectional meetings and submitting reports

  • Assisting other units with backup security support when required
